Tubing & Kayaking

During the warmer seasons, your group can head off for a self-guided, fun-filled 2-1/2 hour inner tube float down the Coosawattee River just outside the resort’s Eagle Mountain Gate . Floating down the river is a great way to reduce stress and enjoy the peace and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Or if kayaking is more his style, your group can reserve a kayaking trip that lasts 1-1/2 hours and includes equipment and shuttle to and from the river.

Fishing Excursion

Another in resort feature is fishing at the Fishing Pond. An afternoon off kicked-back fishing and picnicking is a wonderful way to bring a group together. Nothing could be better than a relaxing day on the water surrounded by all of the peace and tranquility of nature. The sun on his shoulders, it's a retreat dream come true! Fishing licenses are not required, and the pond is fully stocked. Tour guides available.

Hiking North Georgia

Group hiking is an optimal way of working for a goal together and getting some outstanding exercise to clear everyone’s minds. Throw in a waterfall, a wildflower or two, and you'll build camaraderie for months to come! Ask us about guided hiking tours through Benton MacKay, Springer Mountain, Cartecay, and Carters Lake.

Recreation Center Spa Day

Reward your participants with a ‘spa day’ filled with a dip in a heated pool, working-out muscles, and recreational sports. The resort has just that! Participants can enjoy the heated Junior Olympic-sized pool and which is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machine, and exercise bikes. Your entourage can challenge themselves in the Game Room with arcade games, pool tables, ping pong table, and an air hockey machine.  Hold a tennis tournament on the tennis courts and watch the camaraderie & competition emerge! The center also features an 18-hole miniature golf course and a basketball court.

The Alley Bowling

For an event that is right up your alley, treat your group to a bowling event at The Alley in Ellijay. This group experience is strikingly fun! Unlike your Grandpa’s old bowling alley down the street, your group can experience Cosmic Bowling with groovy lighting and old time rock’n’roll. Golf Outing

Golf outings are a perfect team building activity. Your conference planner can assist you with finding the right golf course for an outside activity. The resort allows freedom to golf at courses such as Butternut Creek in Blairsville, Whitepath in Ellijay, or Brasstown Valley. Transportation to the course is available for a fee.
