The General Store at Eagle Mountain

The General Store at Eagle Mountain is located at Coosawattee River Resort's Eagle Mountain Gate. Step back in time to slower days of the old general mountain store where friends gather for special activities, every day needs, good food, good times, and arts and crafts. General Store Crafts

Tubing and Kayaking

Tubing and kayaking is available at The General Store at Eagle Mountain on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until Memorial Day then seven days per week (weather permitting). Current trip times are 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 1:30 p.m. While walk-ins are accepted upon trip availability, calling The General Store is strongly suggested-- please dial (706) 635-1609 for reservations as trips are limited and book fast.

• Tubing fee is $15.00 per person and includes everything you need, shuttle service, tube, and life vest. Ask about discounted rates for large tubing groups.
• Kayak trips are $25.00 per person/per kayak and need to be reserved in advance if possible. Each participant must be at least 5-years-old and a waiver must be completed for each and every participant on our trip, regardless of age.
• Groups of 5 or more must be reserved with credit card which will not be charged until time of trip, however, if you are not present at departure time and have not contacted The General Store for cancellation at least 24-hours prior to departure, your credit card will be charged for the entire reservation.

Pickin' on the Porch

Featured at The General Store at Eagle Mountain, "Pickin' on the Porch" is scheduled the 2nd and 4th Saturday night of each month (weather permitting), with a variety of local entertainment and music from gospel to blue grass to Old Time Rock 'n' Roll. The General Store will be open  for your dining and munching convenience. Bring your own lawn chair, pull up your seat next to the bon-fire, and roast some marshmallows while enjoying the entertainment and mountain ambiance!
